Provide guidance to improve consistency in grading expectations. Coordinate content area requests for approved supplemental materials/media. Curriculum & Assessment Work with administration and other curriculum chairs to develop content area policies and procedures for grade level appropriate instruction within the Specialized Services Program. Coordination of content area curriculum/objectives. Communication Meet periodically with the Special Education Administrative team. Assist with coordination and leadership of annual institutes/workshops/staff development presentations. Assist in the development of materials for school/community information. Leadership Serve as communication liaison between the administration and the members of the content area. Assist with leadership of curriculum review task forces. Provide leadership in review of instructional materials. Serve as consultant/liaison for oversight of textbooks, instructional materials, strategies and equipment for content area.
