Discover opportunities to make a difference at RTX.What You Will DoProvide Project Engineering support and ownership for Air Turbine Starter (ATS) and Gearbox product lineLead Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) efforts to identify causes and mitigation plans for issues affecting pump program productivity, quality, and customer-satisfactionProvide customer support for Field Failure investigationsResolve Supplier Requests for Information (SRIs) by providing clarifications and processing Change Requests (CRs)Manage piece part supplier transitionsPursue cost saving opportunities to maximize project profitability.Consolidate and present plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project.Support Quality investigations as necessary when piece-part issues affect product deliveries.Verify internal processes are being executed to reduce probability of engineering turn backs.Read and interpret drawings, provide mark ups, and coordinate drawing changesQualifications You Must HaveBachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.Qualifications We PreferExperience using analytical and developmental software such as MATLAB, CAD, NX, and/or AutoCADExperience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint)Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering DegreeMechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical hardware is preferredExperience working with cross-functional teams across departmentsWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
