Facilities Technician

We are seeking a reliable Facilities Technician to support the upkeep, cleanliness, and overall maintenance of our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for assisting with custodial and facility maintenance tasks to help ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general custodial and housekeeping duties throughout the facility.
• Assist the facilities team with building maintenance and upkeep.
• Sweep, mop, polish floors, and empty trash receptacles.
• Clean machines and equipment by removing dust, dirt, grease, and debris.
• Monitor and empty machine chip bins as needed.
• Complete daily equipment safety inspections and checklists.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for all employees.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance roles.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience performing general cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior custodial or cleaning experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
