Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced pharmacy technician with a solid retail background who is ready to contribute in a dynamic pharmacy setting. The position is a 13-week contract based in Clearwater, FL, with a weekday schedule from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Candidates should be prepared to start as soon as possible or shortly after clearance.

Responsibilities include processing and filling prescriptions accurately, managing insurance claims and adjudications, and assisting with the packaging and shipping of medications. The role also involves maintaining inventory through daily cycle counts and restocking, handling returns and medication quarantines, and supporting compliance with HIPAA and insurance regulations. Additionally, cross-training in various pharmacy functions will be part of the duties to promote flexibility and overall department support.

The ideal candidate will:

• Possess a High School diploma or GED
• Hold current PTCB certification and an active Florida pharmacy technician license
• Bring at least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience, preferably with a retail focus and some call center exposure
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort making phone calls to patients and providers
• Exhibit strong multitasking, organizational, and time management capabilities
• Communicate clearly and effectively within a team-oriented environment
• Maintain high attention to detail while working in a fast-paced setting
