Full Time Floor Leader - The Shops at La Cantera

Floor Leader – Overview As a Floor Leader, you support the Store Management Team across all business areas, driving sales, opening/closing the store, analyzing results, and leading training sessions. You help ensure the store operates at peak performance, delivering an exceptional customer experience and operational excellence. Responsibilities Driving Sales: Utilize the StoreForce dashboard results to provide effective coaching and feedback to the sales team, adjust shop floor structure to meet and exceed sales goals, and take ownership of contributing to overall store sales. Customer Experience: Lead by example in delivering a world-class customer experience on the shop floor, including product demonstrations and exceptional customer service that drives sales and builds loyalty. Building the Brand: Educate customers on Lush brand values—Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging—and engage the community through events and initiatives. Product Passion: Continuously deepen product knowledge and make informed recommendations for every customer need. Team Development: Train and coach Sales Ambassadors and peers on effective sales techniques and product knowledge to improve performance and increase sales. DEIB: Encourage open communication and listen to team perspectives on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, fostering a sense of belonging through teamwork and recognition of unique contributions. Cash Handling and Store Opening/Closing: Manage cash handling, including customer transactions, opening/closing the register, reconciling drawers, preparing nightly deposits, and securing the store each day. Time and Attendance: Lead by example regarding attendance and punctuality, monitor employee breaks, and keep the team informed and prepared for shifts. Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales. Stock and Inventory: Train the team on inventory best practices, support management with inventory tasks, and adjust product displays in real time based on sales data. Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with company standards for opening and closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety. Qualifications Required: Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and sales Experience in cash handling and opening/closing procedures Supervisory experience involving coaching, feedback, and training Problem‑solving skills for customer service issues in day‑to‑day operations Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced team environment Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred: Experience with consultation‑based customer service models Experience analyzing sales metrics Experience in skincare or cosmetics retail Experience in cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages Lush Cosmetics participates in E‑Verify in certain U.S. states and will provide the federal government with your Form I‑9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the United States.
