Job Description Department: Security Location: Grand Blanc Schedule: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week) Shift: Variable GENERAL SUMMARY: Ready to be the security superhero our Henry Ford Health locations need? As Manager - Security, you'll take charge of day-to-day security operations and lead an awesome team dedicated to keeping our hospital environment safe and secure. You'll own the department budget, craft smart policies and procedures, and set ambitious goals that actually get achieved. Plus, you'll be the go-to technical expert for your team and the friendly face connecting us with law enforcement, safety agencies, and other public service partners. It's a role where you'll make a real difference every single day! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and inspire security personnel to deliver top-notch protection and safety across assigned locations Manage day-to-day security operations with energy and strategic thinking Develop and maintain department budgets, policies, procedures, and goals that drive results Serve as the technical resource and mentor for your team—helping them grow and succeed Build strong partnerships with law enforcement, safety agencies, and public service organizations Champion a secure hospital environment where patients, staff, and visitors feel protected Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Associate Degree in Security Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field and 3 years progressive supervisory or management experience in healthcare security, law enforcement, military or related public safety field OR 3 to 5 years of progressive supervisory or management experience in healthcare security, law enforcement, military, or related public safety field, with demonstrated success leading teams, improving operational performance, implementing security initiatives, and achieving measurable results in safety, customer service, regulatory compliance, and employee development in hospital security experience.
