Hospice Aide

Hospice AideThe Hospice Aide delivers personal care and emotional support services to hospice patients in alignment with the hospice philosophy of comfort, dignity, and respect.Key Responsibilities:Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and feeding.Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.Record and report vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient status.Offer companionship, listening ear, and emotional reassurance.Follow the care plan under supervision of RN Case Manager.Qualifications:Completion of a state-approved nurse aide or hospice aide training program.Current certification in good standing with the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry.Prior hospice or home care experience preferred.Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
