The Nuclear Medicine Physician uses radioactive materials to diagnose and treat diseases, including cancer, heart disease, and neurological disorders. Use specialized scanners and tracers to provide functional insights into cells, tissues, and organ systems, enhancing diagnostic accuracy. The Nuclear Medicine Physician aids in early disease detection and treatment, identifying abnormalities before they become clinically significant, which improves patient prognosis. Interpret advanced imaging studies to guide patient management and treatment planning. Contribute to clinical research to improve diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, advancing the field of nuclear medicine. The Nuclear Medicine Physician monitors and treats diseases like cancer, heart disease, and neurological disorders by providing targeted therapies and evaluating treatment outcomes.

Requirements:

• Must have a Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Must be Board Certified in Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Must have current DEA, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
• Must have a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
