Job Summary:
The Baltimore, Maryland-based Cardiac Cath Lab RN position involves providing specialized nursing care within the cardiovascular interventional laboratory, including cath and electrophysiology labs. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. This role offers a 13-week assignment with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, primarily working Monday through Friday.

Job Details:

• Minimum Hours per Week: 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; at least 2 years of RN experience in cardiac or surgical intensive care units; cardiovascular interventional laboratory experience including cath and/or electrophysiology labs; proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system; experience with moderate sedation, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Schedule: Monday to Friday; four 10-hour shifts; alternating/staggered shifts between 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM and 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM; no fixed schedule or block scheduling; on-call pay $4.00/hour; on-call on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, approximately once per month with a 30-minute response time
• Additional Information: Previous employment at any Johns Hopkins healthcare facilities (including staff, PRN, or travel roles) must be noted on the coversheet and in the work history to verify rehire eligibility. Candidates previously employed as staff, perm, or PRN at these facilities must be gone for at least one full year before applying as a traveler.
