Job Details: Job Location: GV-CO - Denver, CO 80210, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: Graduate Degree/Master's, Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 Salary, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Day (First Shift), POSITION PURPOSE: The Adult Primary Therapist is responsible for performing client care activities as directed by the attending physician, Medical Director, Clinical Director & Clinical Lead. He/she will provide group therapy as ordered by the Clinical Director. Collaborates with the Treatment Team in the formulation of the Master Treatment Plan and assists in coordinating discharge planning. Qualifications: Schedule : Monday - Thursday 12pm-9pm (groups are 6pm-9pm), Fridays - 9am-5pm Flexibility with scheduling is a bonus. Virtual / Remote work. POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: A minimum of Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or health-related field. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 2 years experience in Virtual MH setting. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: MUST BE - Licensed in CO ** Colorado Requirements: Substance Use: A Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) or certified as a Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) with an active clear license or certification in good standing. Mental Health: A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING REQUIRED AT TIME OF HIRE: Knowledge of addictions and mental health complications. Knowledge and competency in problem solving, stress management, ethics and team building. Knowledge of alcohol and other drugs that includes: Alcohol and addictive drugs and their physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual impact on the individual. Alcohol and addictive drugs and their impact on the family. Ability to determine if a medical emergency exists and to take appropriate action, when necessary. Knowledge of emergency procedures used in case of alcohol and/or drug overdose. Knowledge of the stages of alcohol and other drug withdrawals and ability to take appropriate action at each stage. Knowledge of Federal, State and Municipal laws and/or regulations that regulate the treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction, including: Confidentiality Patient Rights Professional Code of Ethics Discrimination Knowledge of airborne and blood borne pathogens (TB, HIV, AIDS, HB) and risk reduction methodologies and the use of universal precautions. AGE SPECIFIC INDIVIDUALS SERVED/ RESPONSIBILITY: Adults SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION Actively participates in Interdisciplinary Treatment Plan meetings. Shares pertinent information with the team as obtained from the client's family, or others as indicated throughout the program. Attends daily and weekly staffing meetings per schedule. Evaluates the impact of therapeutic interventions upon the therapeutic milieu. Facilitates group therapy. Performs individual therapy with client/family. Documents the assessment of client progress/regress and interventions provided in the medical record, on an ongoing basis. Recognizes, responds to and assists in psychiatric crisis situations and provides the intervention necessary. Responds and assists in medical emergency situations as directed and needed. Communicates effectively with client, staff and physician. Provides clients with education and instruction on Advance Directives. Attends and participates in monthly Program Staff meetings as scheduled. Adheres to policies and procedures. Performs other duties assigned. Protect the privacy of all client information in accordance with GRNH, LLC’s privacy policies, procedures and practices, as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with general principle of professionalism as a healthcare provider.
