Patient Services Representative - Twin Cities Orthopedics

The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration and check in as well as clinical support duties. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday between 8:00am-7:00pm and rotating Saturdays between 8:00am-12:00pm. This position will be floating between our PT Burnsville and PT Eagan locations. Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential Job Functions: * Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID for incoming patients * Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices * Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the practice management systems * Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including: appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments

• Chart preparation and management including preparing for outreach events
• Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan

networks * Maintain timely communication with patients, families, employers and clinic staff * Rotation of Switchboard Operator duties which include: accepting, handling and transferring calls, coordination of interpreters for clinic appointments, and coordination of patient referrals * Any and all other duties as assigned Education and Experience:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Customer Service experience required
• Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred

• Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.
• A $1,500 sign-on bonus will be offered for select roles, payable on first

paycheck with a 12-month commitment. • Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
• Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
• Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone,
