About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: OB/MEDSURG L&D (Labor and Delivery) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: Telemetry experience preferred, Pediatric experience preferred Description: This position requires a clinician who will predominantly work in MedSurg. The clinician will also need to assist with Labor and Delivery/OB duties. OB nurses will care for MedSurg patients but will transfer any OB patients to the appropriate location. During deliveries, it is preferred to have two L&D nurses present on the floor. The role will primarily involve night shifts, but some flexibility for day shifts may be available. This is a small critical access hospital, so the RN will work with a variety of patient types. The position involves 12-hour shifts. The facility is very traveler-friendly. Telemetry experience is preferred but not mandatory. Pediatric experience is preferred. Training will be provided for the charting system used. Cancellation policy is not applicable.
