Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Labor and Delivery Specialty: RN Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, NRP required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: BLS ACLS NRP Fetal Monitoring Description: Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. The unit has 8 beds, with triage rooms and operating suites available. C-sections are circulated. Schedule includes full-time hours with rotating holidays and every third weekend.
