### Exciting Opportunity for SICU RN in San Antonio, TX!

- Position: Contract-RN-SICU
- Shift: 7P-7A / 13 weeks
- Location: San Antonio, TX

About the Role:
- Join a passionate team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.
- Work in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and engage in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
- Contribute to patient recovery through advanced medical procedures and critical care nursing.

Unit Highlights:
- Shift Details:
- Shift hours: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A
- Weekend: Rotating
- Guaranteed hours: 36
- Must be available to float as per unit policy

- Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years ICU experience
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification

- Preferred Skills:
- Background in MICU & MSICU
- Exposure to IABP and CRRT
- Experience with Meditech

- Key Responsibilities:
- Administer care including chest tubes, intubations, and central lines
- Monitor patient conditions and make critical decisions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes

Dress Code:
- Scrub Color: Navy (top & pants) with navy or white scrub jacket
- Clean and healthy nails
- Hair should be neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors
- Beards and facial hair should be well-groomed
- Body art should be covered when possible; visible piercings (other than ears) are prohibited
