Senior Associate, Tech Engineer

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Tech Engineer to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.

Responsibilities:

• Support the build, configuration, and testing of GenAIenabled applications and digital solutions, under the guidance of senior engineers and architects
• Assist with integrating large language models (LLMs) and GenAI services into applications using APIs, connectors, and workflow orchestration tools
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to AI prompts, integrations, data flows, and supporting platform services in development and test environments
• Contribute to technical documentation, prompt specifications, and operational support artifacts for GenAI use cases
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (engineering, product, risk, and security) to ensure solutions align with responsible AI, security, and governance standards
• Demonstrate continuous learning and adaptability by applying emerging AI, automation, and digital engineering concepts in a fastchanging technology landscape
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum three years relevant experience, including internships, academic projects, or professional work in software engineering, digital delivery, AI, or platformbased development
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; High School diploma or GED required
• Experience with programming, scripting, or lowcode platforms (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Power Platform, or similar)
• Understanding of APIs, cloud services, and integration concepts, particularly as they relate to digital or AIenabled solutions
• Knowledge of GenAI or automation concepts such as prompt engineering, model interaction, workflow orchestration, or data pipelines (experience may be academic or projectbased)
• Strong problemsolving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
