Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: Permanent Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Experience in caring for cardiac patients License: Active Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Experience with cardiac patients, including those post-cardiac procedures. Description: Seeking a passionate Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit. The role involves caring for cardiac patients, specifically those who have undergone open-heart surgeries and other cardiac procedures. Responsibilities include managing patients on bipap, addressing DKA, CIWA, and administering titrating drips. The unit consists of a pod with 8 patients classified as Intermediate Care (IMC). This position requires working every third weekend and rotating holidays.
