Assistant Facilities Manager – JLL

What this job involves: As an Assistant Facilities Manager at JLL, you will support the day-to-day operations and maintenance activities for a client facility, ensuring a safe, efficient, and customer-focused workplace environment. This role works closely with the Facility Management team to coordinate maintenance planning, preventive maintenance scheduling, vendor management, and client support activities. You will help drive operational excellence by managing work orders, supporting events, maintaining service quality standards, and fostering positive relationships with clients, visitors, vendors, and onsite teams. This position plays a key role in supporting JLL’s commitment to delivering exceptional client service and operational performance.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Support the Facility Management team with operational planning, maintenance coordination, and execution of facility-related initiatives.

• Manage and track work orders through the CMMS platform, ensuring timely completion and adherence to established KPI metrics.

• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, including one-month look-ahead planning for facility maintenance activities.

• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality work is completed with minimal disruption to client operations.

• Assist with event coordination, mail and package delivery, and general facility support services as needed.

• Conduct inspections of janitorial and landscaping services, identify deficiencies, and coordinate corrective actions to maintain service standards.

• Provide exceptional customer service by acting as a point of contact for clients, visitors, and guests while ensuring timely follow-up on requests and concerns.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Property Management, or related field preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of related facilities, property management, or building operations experience preferred.

• Experience using CMMS platforms for work order management; Corrigo experience is a plus.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, email systems, and smartphone/mobile technology.

• Valid driver’s license required with the ability to travel between multiple locations as needed.

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional overtime or on-call support for facility events or emergencies.

• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of building systems, preventive maintenance processes, and facility operations.

• Experience supporting vendor management, service coordination, and facility inspections.

• Ability to interpret written instructions, schedules, diagrams, and operational procedures.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage routine operational issues independently.

• Experience supporting budget tracking, reporting, and operational documentation.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

• Commitment to maintaining health, safety, environmental, and risk management compliance standards.

Location: Nashville, TN

Work Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Salary: $33.65 - $36.05
