Join Our Team as a Radiology Technologist I, II & IIILocation: Mariposa, California – Gateway to Yosemite National ParkDepartment: RadiologyOpenings: 1Representation: This is a Union represented position and is represented by AFSCME Local 2703_______________________________________________________________Position SummaryAs a Radiology Technologist I, II, or III, you will provide diagnostic imaging services to patients referred by physicians for routine, emergency, and special imaging procedures. Working under general supervision, you will perform standard and complex imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with established Diagnostic Imaging Department policies and procedures.You will work collaboratively with radiologists, medical staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals while maintaining accurate patient records, following infection control and quality assurance standards, and providing compassionate, professional patient care._______________________________________________________________Key ResponsibilitiesPerform standard and complex diagnostic imaging procedures for routine, emergency, and special examinations.Perform X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures accurately and independently within applicable licensure and demonstrated competency.Prepare and appropriately position patients for imaging procedures while maintaining patient safety and comfort.Communicate with Radiologists and transmit electronic imaging data for review and interpretation.Follow prescribed radiation and imaging safety standards and established District and Diagnostic Imaging Department policies and procedures.Maintain required patient, imaging, and departmental records and provide reports as required.Maintain accurate patient files and computer records.Operate and care for Diagnostic Imaging equipment appropriately and safely.Follow infection control, quality assurance, patient confidentiality, and safety requirements.Perform venipuncture and contrast administration when appropriately trained and certified.At the Radiology Technologist II and III levels, perform additional imaging modalities consistent with applicable certification and classification requirements._______________________________________________________________Minimum Qualifications-Radiology Technologist ICalifornia State Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license with Fluoroscopy.Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.Venipuncture/Contrast Administration course completion certificate for Technologists performing contrast injection procedures.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / Healthcare Provider certification.-Radiology Technologist IIMeets all Radiology Technologist I requirements.Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, including fluoroscopy experience.California State License in Mammography and/or ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).-Radiology Technologist IIIMeets all Radiology Technologist II requirements.Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist with fluoroscopy and venipuncture experience.California State License in Mammography and/or ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).Current ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).May provide work-related direction to other Diagnostic Imaging Department employees in the absence of the Diagnostic Imaging Manager._______________________________________________________________Wage Range: Based on union placement within the listed wage rangeBenefits: EligiblePlacement at the Radiology Technologist I, II, or III level will be based on Union guidelines of experience, licensure, certifications, and demonstrated qualifications._______________________________________________________________Why Work With Us?At John C.
