Miscellaneous Steel DetailerA specialty steel fabrication shop located in Frenchtown, NJ is seeking a Miscellaneous Steel Detailer to join their team. Typical projects include stairs, rails, ladders, etc. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in drafting and design within the steel construction industry. Job responsibilities include developing detailed steel shop drawings and fabrication details; collaborating with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications; and maintaining organized documentation of all design revisions and project files. Job requirements include proficiency in AutoCAD, SDS2 or Tekla; a strong understanding of steel fabrication and construction processes; and knowledge of AISC and AWS standards.
