Exciting Opportunity for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Our organization is thrilled to announce a full-time position for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to become a vital part of our Anesthesiology team in Clinton, Iowa.
Position OverviewWe are looking for CRNAs to deliver anesthesia services through scheduled shifts or on-call coverage, with the advantage of no night or weekend duties. The services provided will encompass:
- General anesthesia
- General surgical procedures
- Pediatric anesthesia
- Cardiac and thoracic anesthesia
- Obstetrical anesthesia
- Intravenous sedation and regional blocks
- Conductive anesthesia for inpatients, surgical outpatients, and emergency care patients
- Immediate availability
- Independent practice environment
- Attractive base salary with bonus potential
- Eligibility for loan repayment programs
- Convenient location: 2 hours from Chicago, 90 minutes from Iowa City, and 2.5 hours from Madison, Wisconsin, situated along the Mississippi River
- Focus on routine cases, including OB, regional blocks, and central lines—no complex cardiac or neurosurgical cases
CRNAs in our organization also engage in pre-anesthesia evaluations, monitor patients post-surgery for any anesthesia-related complications, and respond promptly to emergency codes. Collaboration is key, as our CRNAs work closely with the OR leadership team, anesthesia providers, clinical staff, surgeons, and perioperative teams to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care while adhering to evidence-based practices and regulatory standards. Additionally, our CRNAs oversee hospital-wide moderate sedation and participate in peer review processes.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a comprehensive recruitment package that includes:
- Base salary of $286,720
- Sign-on bonus of $90,000
