We are looking for a two (2) Registered Dental Hygienists to join a great practice that is growing in both Crozet & Charlottesville, VA. Our practice offers a wonderful office culture, work flexibility and attractive pay & benefits, Our hygienists enjoy working at the practice and have great relationships with patients and handle 1 column of hygiene. We have 3 other RDHs who have been there on average of 5 years.

Your average day:
- Review oral health history and conduct initial mouth screening
- Educating patients on proper teeth and gum care and the importance of diet on oral health
- Taking X-rays and developing dental impressions and radiographs of teeth
- Removing plaque, cleaning teeth, and helping to prevent gum disease
- Supporting the dentist on all aspects of dental care
- Collecting medical and dental histories from patients
- Applying preventive materials to the teeth such as sealants & fluoride
You have:
- An in-depth knowledge of medicine, dentistry, dental health, and safety regulations
- Experience as a dental hygienist
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of infection control guidelines set forth by CCHC/OHSA/ADA.
- Knowledge of HIPPA regulations
