[Title] Facility: Summit Medical Center Contract Length: Start Date: Hours: 3 12-hour shifts per week Overtime: Orientation: Shift: Submission Rules Location & Floating Primary Location: PCU Float Requirement: May have to float between PCU units or to med-surg floors Possible Float Locations: Med-surg floors Float Notes: Schedule Requirements Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: On Call: Unit Information Unit: PCU Beds: 34 beds in unit 630, 25 beds in unit 633 Patient Ratios: Days: 1:4 to 1:5 Nights: 1:5 to 1:6 Days: Nights: Charge Nurse: Patient Population Required Certifications Must be attached at submission: BLS ACLS Minimum Experience Requirements Critical thinking skills EKG rhythm interpretation Cardiac drip experience Insulin drip and heparin drip experience Preferred: Peritoneal dialysis experience Peripheral IV skills Required Skills ACLS Experience with bipaps, high flow O2, and multiple oxygen delivery systems Experience with stroke and post-cardiac cath care Experience with tube feedings and NG/Dobhoff tubes Preferred Skills Peritoneal dialysis experience Charting System Charting: Meditech Include any required check-off, class, or training if listed Unit Culture / Strengths Care like family culture on PCU Great teamwork Most travelers extend after the first time on PCU Dress Code Scrubs: Black Scrubs Include logo restrictions if listed Additional Policies Unit does self scheduling for 4-week schedules Contract requires working every other weekend Utilize techs to care for the patients and assist in care Education Requirement
