Registered Nurse - Critical Care (Full Time)

Full Time 3x12 day shift (7a-7:30p) with holiday and every other weekend rotations required. Includes 2 On-Call shifts per 4 weeks.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care across multiple units including Med/Surg, ICU, and ER. This position requires a BSN and critical care experience, with a focus on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across Med/Surg, ICU, and ER settings.
• Ensure confidentiality and professional communication within the healthcare team and with patients.
• Assess patient conditions and implement care plans according to age-specific needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in New York State (NYS).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Med/Surg, Tele, or Critical Care units.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association), and NIHSS required.
• Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Emergency Nurses Association certification recommended within 2 years of hire.
• TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire.
