About the Position

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8 Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Active license preferred Certifications: ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: Epic experience preferred Previous charge experience Description: IR Tech position available with an ASAP start. Shifts are 5x8 days. Call is required and will be divided among three technicians. Weekend on-call responsibilities include Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The week following a weekend call weekend will require Thursday only. The week prior to a weekend call weekend will include Monday and Wednesday. Technicians will rotate among three positions. Epic experience is recommended but not mandatory. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience. No first-time travelers will be accepted. Skills required include, but are not limited to: Accessing/Managing Ports Adrenal Angiography Angiography of genitourinary system Angioplasty Aortography Carotid Angiography Catheter/drain exchange Central Venous Access (non-Tunneled/PICC lines) Chemoembolization Dialysis Graft Creation/Revision Embolization EVAR (Endovascular Aneurysm Repair) Ultrasound Uterine Arterial Embolization And many others outlined in the job description. Unit details include: Patient age groups served: Adults and Geriatrics. Average daily census: 210 patients. Number of procedures per day: 7. Total number of rooms available: 2. Total number of beds: 350. Interdisciplinary support includes teams in IV, Respiratory Services, Social Services, Pharmacy, and others. Candidates must comply with floating requirements within the hospital. Previous staff must have been separated for a minimum of one year and remain in good standing to be eligible for return.
