Remote Business Analyst

Apex Systems, a leader in IT Solutions, is looking for a REMOTE Business Analyst! This role is for a long term contract opportunity for a fast growing, dynamic Healthcare organization. The Business Analyst will represent the business community and IT in prioritizing, analyzing and documenting business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement/enhancements and negotiating agreements and commitments between business partners (internal and external) and IT from requirements gathering to final implementation and maintenance. This person will work directly with stakeholders/leadership at various levels within the company, along with outside parties to research and identify operational business requirements with sufficient detail and clarity to allow IT staff to collaboratively develop the solution.

• Participate in cross-functional work sessions with both the business and IT customers to capture stakeholder needs and required system requirements/features.
• Participate in development, documentation and analysis of detailed functional requirements via system Use Cases and Use Case Realizations.
• Participate in the development of system solution design for existing and new capabilities using a thorough understanding of business process and requirements as well as system capabilities and architecture.
• Participate in multi-departmental, small, medium, large and complex projects and change initiatives.
• Initiate problem analysis, explore solutions, prepare and present information.
• Participate in client meetings and engages clients when appropriate.
• Provide customer support and post implementation monitoring during initial rollout.
• Write and document business and technical requirements for project execution

Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:

• Knowledgeable of Software Design
• Working experience with the Atlassian suite, primarily with JIRA for planning and documentation
• Knowledgeable Software Documentation
• Understanding of Wireframing in a Software Development environment; able to give examples of Wireframing tools used in the past and how they were used
• Software Development Process
• Software Requirements
• Strong working experience in a clinical or laboratory setting is helpful but not required
• Knowledgeable in healthcare processes within an IT setting
• Strong Written and Verbal Communication
