The PCT promotes a safe, therapeutic environment, assists with activities of daily living, observes and reports changes in patient condition, and supports the overall behavioral health treatment team. Responsible for providing exceptional patient care and service excellence while adhering to Parkview Health Standards of Behavior.QualificationsEducationMust have a HS Diploma or GED. If candidate is at least 17 years of age but does not yet have a current high school diploma/GED, the following requirements must be met: must be actively working towards high school diploma/GED and receive within 2 years of hire.Licensure/CertificationMust obtain CPR certification within 60 days of hire. CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification preferred.ExperienceMinimum of 1 year experience working in the patient care setting preferred, but not required.Other QualificationsMust be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Demonstrates ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
