We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. Job Posting Are you a compassionate individual who has previous experience working with children with physical disabilities, development disabilities, and/or non-verbal children? If so, then this is the position for you! We are seeking a Respite Worker to provide respite care for a 4-year-old boy with Autism & Klinefelter syndrome in his home! This child loves playing with toys, swings, and trampoline and going to the park. Respite care will be conducted in the child's home. Community outings are also encouraged. Wage: $17.66 per hour (pay increase based on experience) Schedule 2pm – 5pm Monday – Friday. Flexible Schedule to be determined by family. Job Duties Supervision and Safety Build confidence/independence Companionship and Social Engagement Positive working environment/responsive employer/family. Training on assisting with child’s needs will be provided by employer/family. Job satisfaction by making a HUGE impact in someone's life Job Requirements Authorized to work in the U.S. Criminal/Caregiver background check. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance preferred. Compassionate individuals with childcare or respite care experience preferred. Experience with children with physical disabilities and/or development disability preferred.
