Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid and current Occupational Therapist license
• Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred
• Skilled in delivering OT services for K-12 students in both in-person and teletherapy settings
• Proficient with IEPs, evaluations, progress reports, and collaborating with educators and families
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Adaptability and a student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, adapting plans to meet individual needs
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop appropriate treatment strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other school staff to ensure integrated support for students
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and reports
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and recommendations
• Communicate effectively with families and caregivers regarding student progress and therapy objectives
• Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed to reach students remotely
