Labor & Employment Associate Attorney

A leading national law firm is seeking an experience labor & employment attorney to join its Minneapolis team. This attorney will work closely with senior attorneys and firm leadership on a broad range of employment litigation and counseling matters. Responsibilities: Independently manage single-plaintiff employment litigation matters and take a significant role in complex, high-stakes disputes Work closely with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategy and case tactics Draft substantial motions, briefs, pleadings, and other litigation documents Interview witnesses and develop factual presentations for employment disputes Prepare and respond to written discovery Take and defend depositions Advise clients on increasingly complex labor and employment matters based on experience Participate in trial preparation and trial proceedings as needed Contribute to business development and continued growth of the employment practice Qualifications: JD from an accredited law school 4-6 years of labor and employment litigation and counseling matters in a law firm environment Active Minnesota bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission in Minnesota Strong experience with employment litigation including plaintiff matters and more complex disputes Demonstrated interest in developing a long-term labor & employment practice #J-18808-Ljbffr
