In addition to its clinical excellence, the Division is committed to training the next generation of geriatricians through its ACGME-accredited Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program, which offers robust inpatient and outpatient experiences, exposure to interdisciplinary care models, and mentorship from nationally recognized faculty. The Division also plays a vital role in medical and nursing education at all levels, integrating geriatric principles into the curriculum for students and residents across specialties.
Research and scholarly activities are integral to the Division's work, with ongoing projects focused on healthy aging, dementia care, falls prevention, polypharmacy, and healthcare delivery innovations.
