Radiologic TechnologistScheduled weekly hours: 36Under supervision, and following established procedures, performs a variety of radiologic procedures in two or more modalities, using standard, portable and/or specialized X-ray equipment to apply prescribed ionizing radiation in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patient's illnesses or injury.Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:Graduate of Radiology program and maintain ARRT and state licensureExcellent communication, customer service and organizational skillsAbility to operate radiologic equipmentPreferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:Experience in acute hospital settingExperience with sterile techniqueExperience with administering contrast dyeAssisting IR proceduresExperience with PACSPrevious Cerner experience a plusEducational Requirements:Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology; Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.License/Certification:ARRT registration and Massachusetts licensure requiredAdvanced registration for additional modalities and hospital IV certification as appropriate for the modality. preferredPhysical Demands:Use hands to control objects, tools, or controls, stand or sit for long periods of time, repeat the same movements, on feet for long periods of time, bend or twist body.
