Real Estate Inside Sales Representative

$80,000 - $120,000 per year • $500/week guaranteed base + 10% commission on every closed deal

Better Buyer is one of Connecticut's most active real estate investing and home-buying companies. Since 2019 we've helped hundreds of homeowners sell quickly and simply. We invest heavily in marketing (Google ads, Facebook, direct mail, text campaigns and our website) to find homeowners who are thinking about selling and have shown interest in an offer.

We're hiring a full-time Inside Sales Representative (real estate acquisitions) to turn that interest into deals. You'll follow up with these sellers by phone, learn their situation, build trust, handle their concerns and guide them to a signed agreement. If you've worked in phone sales, inside sales, appointment setting or as a sales associate and want a base salary plus commission with real upside, this is for you.

Pay: a guaranteed paycheck plus uncapped upside

• $500 every week, guaranteed, so you're never starting from zero
• 10% commission on every deal you close. The more you close, the more you make.
• $80,000 - $120,000 per year earning potential for reps who put in the work

What you'll do

• Follow up quickly with homeowners who responded to our marketing and showed interest in selling (warm leads, not cold lists)
• Learn their story: timeline, the house's condition, why they might sell
• Handle objections with confidence ("I'm not sure yet," "your price is low," "I need to talk to my family")
• Work with our team to price the property and present a cash offer
• Stay on top of your pipeline with consistent lead follow-up and notes in our CRM. Many deals close on the 3rd or 5th conversation.

Schedule

• In office Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm at our Branford, CT office
• Deals come in seven days a week. Calls can be made any day, mornings, evenings and weekends, and reps who work those leads close more deals and earn more.

Requirements

• You'll be great at this if you
• Have sales or customer service experience (call center, car sales, insurance, mortgage, retail, door-to-door all count)
• Don't get rattled by "no" and know how to keep a conversation going
• Are persistent with follow-up without being pushy
• Are competitive and motivated by earning more when you close more
• Live within commuting distance of Branford (New Haven, East Haven, Guilford, North Branford, North Haven, Madison, Hamden, Wallingford and nearby)
• Are eligible to work in the U.S.
• Entry level welcome: no real estate experience needed. We'll train you.
