As a therapist-ownedand operated facility, we give all our clinicians the unique personalattention, mentoring, and career support they need to best serve our patients.
Requirements
- Associatesof Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college oruniversity
- Currentstate of Texas licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- 6months full-time clinical experience
- Pediatricsexperience
- HomeHealth experience preferred
- Mustcarry valid auto insurance and driver's license.
Responsibilities include
- Providesskilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance withphysician orders
- Providesskilled occupational therapy services/interventions in the patients homeor daytime facility
- Schedulessupervision visit(s) with his/her supervising OT according to Texas boardguidelines
- Collaborateswith all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient
- Plansfor care to meet goals of the occupational therapy interventions
- Updatesjob knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, readingprofessional publications, maintaining personal networks, andparticipating in professional organizations.
- Enhancesoccupational therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishingnew and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to jobaccomplishments
