Senior Health Actuarial Consulting RoleClient-facing health consultingCloser to client-facing consulting than a modelling-heavy IC role because engagement leadership and renewal discussions matter as much as the analysis.Senior Health actuarial consulting role with Mercer in Irvine, California. You will lead employer health benefits engagements covering financial projections, plan design, underwriting, benchmarking, and renewal negotiations, while guiding junior staff and serving as a key client contact.Must have:BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics, or related fieldMinimum 4 years of actuarial experience, including health and benefits consultingWork in local office at least 3 days per weekStrongly preferred:Proven progress toward ASA designationClient-facing experienceStrong analytical skills and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience in health benefits actuarial consultingStrong R and Python programming for data manipulation, modeling, and automationASA credentialedTools: Excel PowerPoint Domain: Health and benefits actuarial consulting Employer health benefits plan design and renewal Underwriting health and welfare insurance
