Job Overview Job Family: SCA Type of Requisition: Regular Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: None Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: None Public Trust/Other Required: None US Citizenship Required: Yes Job Description Pipefitter Applies basic pipefitting processes to join, surface, fabricate, repair, or replace piping systems (e.g., steel, cuni). Works from blueprints, engineering sketches, charts, or work orders. Uses measuring tools and related equipment to target and fit piping. Sil-brazes cuni pipe. May inspect completed work for conformance to specifications. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Participates in special projects, as required. Education & Qualifications Education: Requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience. Technical or vocational training preferred. Experience: 1–3 years of related pipefitting experience. Required Certifications: Braze qual CUNI and copper/face feed. Compensation & Work Details Likely hourly rate: $26.35 - $35.65 (based on experience, location, and contractual requirements).
