Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our medium-sized CPA firm, specializing in comprehensive accounting services for small business clients. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in client management, tax preparation, payroll processing, and sales tax reporting and will bring strong problem-solving and communication skills to support our team of 4-10 accounting professionals.
Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships and provide expert accounting support
- Prepare and file tax returns for corporate and individual clients
- Monitor compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Reconcile accounts accurately and timely
- Process payroll and sale tax ensuring accuracy and compliance
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of payroll processing and sales tax
- Experience preparing tax returns for corporations and individuals
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
We offer training programs to enhance your skills in addition to performance-based compensation including salary and bonuses. While this is a full time, in office position, we offer a flexible work schedule when needed. Both CPAs and Non-CPAs are welcome.
