Events Operations Supervisor (Bowling and Family Entertainment)

We’re looking for a Supervisor to help lead the team at our brand-new family entertainment facility that will open soon at North County Mall, Escondido. The Bowling Supervisor ensures the Bowling and Events Department functions operationally and consistently to meet the marketing and sales goals of the company. A high school diploma or GED is required. Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is required. All staff will handle and serve alcohol, so you must be at least 21 years old. Essential Duties Customer Service Provide superior customer service and satisfaction by being constantly visible and readily accessible to customers. Provide customers with bowling tips and techniques. Conduct alcohol and age restriction controls in accordance with company policies. Team Management Coach and develop effective staff for the Bowling and Events Department. Review department time sheets for accuracy of hours and overtime. Sales Responsible for the sales and profit projections of the bowling and events department. Proactively support any promotional activities within the store. Auditing / Compliance Audit refunds and/or credits against itemized sales from the previous day; and cash drawers and transactions. Audit and track special events. Create daily audit reports with sales information and auditing discoveries for store management. Operations / Facility Management Ensure that the facility is always clean and organized. Ensure satisfactory maintenance, appearance, and condition of assigned facilities. Enforce compliance with all local, state, federal regulations and company policy pertaining to safety and loss prevention. Comply with all OSHA requirements. Qualifications 2–3 years of hospitality management experience, preferably in the entertainment, retail, or hospitality industries. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust and activity can be expected. Physical Demands Regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces. Required to stand and walk for extensive periods of time without breaks during busy times. Lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistance is required.
