Job Details Job Location: Upper Main Line YMCA - Berwyn , PA 19312 Salary Range: $18.71 - $24.32 Hourly Job Category: Program/Youth Sports/Adult Embark on a Journey of Impactful Adventure To plan, organize, and deliver value-driven skill development programs to participants in accordance with YMCA goals and objectives. Theater Instructor leads music and theater classes for ages 1-18, teaching acting, dance, music, and performance skills while building confidence and creativity. Requires experience in the performing arts and mentoring young performers. Who Are We? Leads with enthusiasm and positive motivation in program. Organizes and maintains program records including, but not limited to: attendance records, rosters, etc. Manages all equipment. Maintains a clean and risk-free environment. Communicates effectively and timely with program participants and parents. Ensures all children are picked up by a parent. Promotes other YMCA programs by handing out brochures, answering questions, or referral to appropriate person. Ensures compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications What You'll Need 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED Minimum of 5 years of advanced experience in specialized skill Minimum of 4 years teaching specialized skill. Training and qualifications in the specialized instruction area Demonstrate advance knowledge of specialized skill Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs Obtain and maintain all new hires certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire Work Conditions and Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
