Job Description
Title: Level II Registered Nurse - Surgical

Schedule: 3x12 hour rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback.

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours straight time

Requirements:
- RN License (New York)
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- 2 years of experience
- Telemetry experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide competent care based on established standards.
- Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member.
- Care for various surgical patients, including thoracic, foregut, plastics, and burn patients.
- Monitor post-operative patients requiring more frequent monitoring.
- Manage care for patients with pulmonary hypertension, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices.
