Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Spokane, WA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Block Schedule Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a large acute care setting, including a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Float between units as needed to support patient care across departments
• Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:11
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in holiday coverage — candidates are expected to work 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Valid Washington State license must be in hand at time of submission — compact license accepted if active
• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
• Block schedule commitment required
• All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at the time of submittal — post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals may be considered at an adjusted rate)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity or trauma-level acute care environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience floating between multiple units or sister facilities
