Job Description Summary: This role is for an experienced Marine Mechanic / Outboard Mechanic to join a dynamic technical team responsible for the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of marine engines and vessel systems. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of marine equipment across various operational environments, including drydock, workshop, and onboard settings. With a focus on preventive maintenance and technical accuracy, this position offers a valuable opportunity to advance a career in the marine industry, particularly within Gulf or offshore operations. Responsibilities Perform repair, servicing, and maintenance of outboard and inboard marine engines Diagnose mechanical faults and conduct effective troubleshooting on marine equipment Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections of vessels and mechanical systems Repair engine, fuel, cooling, steering, and hydraulic systems Support drydock activities, workshop operations, and onboard maintenance tasks Ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed safely, efficiently, and to standard Maintain accurate service reports and technical documentation Requirements Proven experience as a Marine Mechanic, Outboard Mechanic, or Marine Engine Technician Strong knowledge of marine engines and vessel mechanical systems Demonstrated ability to independently identify and resolve technical and mechanical issues Experience in marine workshops, shipyards, offshore vessels, or boat maintenance is preferred Technical qualification in Mechanical or Marine Engineering is an advantage Gulf or offshore experience is highly preferred Preferred Skills Hands‑on experience with Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, or similar outboard engines Familiarity with marine maintenance procedures and safety standards Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced marine environment Strong teamwork and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr TestHiring
