Facilities Support Coordinator

Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Facilities Support Coordinator for a prestigious client in the energy industry. This position plays a key role in supporting daily building operations, coordinating workspace readiness, and maintaining professional office environments across multiple floors. The ideal candidate will bring experience working alongside facilities teams in a corporate setting and thrive in a hands-on role that supports employee experience and workplace functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily facilities operations and respond to building-related requests.
  • Coordinate with facilities teams, vendors, janitorial staff, and maintenance personnel to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Submit and monitor maintenance requests to ensure completion.
  • Prepare and set up workstations for new hires, including desk configuration, equipment placement, and office supplies.
  • Coordinate workspace readiness with internal departments to support onboarding activities.
  • Assist with internal office moves, including moving furniture, boxes, and equipment between workspaces and floors.
  • Reconfigure office and meeting spaces to support operational and event needs.
  • Conduct daily inspections of meeting rooms to ensure cleanliness, supplies, and AV equipment readiness.
  • Support same-day meeting room setup requests and troubleshoot physical room issues.
  • Maintain kitchens, breakrooms, and shared office areas to established standards.
  • Provide mailroom coverage during absences, including processing incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Support office relocation activities between corporate locations, including labeling, furniture placement, and workspace preparation.
  • Participate in fire warden training and support building evacuation procedures during drills or emergencies.
  • Assist with office organization projects, employee engagement activities, and company events.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities support, office services, workplace operations, or a related hands-on role.
  • Experience working and coordinating with facilities teams or building operations departments required.
  • Experience supporting office moves, workspace transitions, or corporate relocation projects preferred.
  • Background supporting mailroom operations or package handling preferred.
  • Experience in a corporate office environment preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to lift and move office furniture, boxes, and equipment as needed.
  • Familiarity with workplace safety procedures and building compliance standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.
