Maintenance Technician

This is a 9-month CT role with potential for extension or conversion. It is 100% onsite at their Normal, Illinois location and is Monday-Friday first shift. As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on lab test equipment. Required Skills & Experience Understand electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze problems and perform repairs Utilize standard hand tools as well as simple diagnostic tools such as multimeter, oscilloscope, etc. Ability to work in tight spaces Comply with 5S and housekeeping standards Follow all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines. Situational awareness and identify unsafe behaviors and conditions Preferred Skills Experience in a test environment is a plus Experience working around lithium ion batteries is a plus What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities: Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items as necessary Observing devices in operation to locate root cause of problem Dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts Repair and/or replacement of defective parts Testing of device to observe performance; and performing tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems Reconditioning and repairing machine tools Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
