Of Counsel - Litigation and Outside General Counsel

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified Of Counsel attorney in Scottsdale, AZ, with 3-10 years of experience in general litigation and outside general counsel practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in business litigation and alternative dispute resolution, with significant experience in motion practice.

Duties

Engage in business litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
Act as outside general counsel with direct client exposure.
Work with closely held businesses and serial entrepreneurs.
Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills.
Take on increased levels of responsibility.

Requirements

3-10 years of experience in relevant legal fields.
Active membership and good standing with the Arizona State Bar.
Experience in motion practice and client interaction.
Existing, portable book of business is beneficial but not required.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

Licensed to practice law in Arizona.

Skills

Strong foundation in business litigation and dispute resolution.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Intellectual curiosity and commitment to professional improvement.
Action-oriented with a focus on exceptional client service.
