Welder/Fabricator (MIG & TIG Stainless Steel)

Pay: $38$45/hr

Location: SE Portland, OR

Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator specializing in stainless steel to support full-cycle custom fabrication. This position requires strong TIG welding skills and the ability to read and interpret blueprints to complete high-quality, custom builds.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle fabrication of custom stainless steel components and assemblies
• Operate fabrication equipment including press brakes, shears, and grinders
• Execute precision TIG welding on stainless steel materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Grind, polish, and finish parts to meet quality standards
• Fit, assemble, and modify large industrial units
• Work in confined or tight spaces when needed to complete fabrication and finishing
• Assist with occasional installation or service work at customer sites (minimal travel)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Required Skills

• Advanced TIG welding experience
• Proficiency with grinding, finishing, press brake, and shear operations
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

• Experience working with large-scale or industrial equipment
• Comfortable working in confined spaces
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
