Job Description

We are hiring someone who has a great attitude and is able to be a team player. As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and repairing equipment to ensure the smooth operation of facilities and machinery. This role involves working with various tools and equipment, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.

Pay: $24 - $30/hr ($2-$3 differential for the night shift) $1,000 sign on bonus and $1,500 attendance bonus

Shift: 2,2,3 Schedule. Night shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am (Only 15 Working days per month!)

Location: West Bridgewater, MA

Responsibilities

• Perform general machine and equipment maintenance and repairs
• Conduct product changeovers as needed
• Carry out general building maintenance
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks
• Work on continuous improvement projects as required
• Notify lead of needed extended repairs and or spare parts
• Complete all pertinent maintenance paperwork
• Participate in Corrective Action teams
• Assist the production team as needed
• Conduct quality auditing and understand quality testing procedures
• Report any potential food safety, legality, quality or food defense concerns to the plant manager or quality personnel
• Follow all documented Good Manufacturing Practices
• Maintain product safety, legality, regulatory compliance and quality systems
• Perform other duties as required

Essential Skills

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• General maintenance skills
• Knowledge of PLCs
• Experience with setting up cameras
• Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Electrical experience
• Familiarity with heat sealing processes
• Ability to work in team dynamic and maintain a good attitude
• Good communication skills

This is a Permanent position based out of West Bridgewater, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $53000.00/yr.

- Weekly pay - Guaranteed OT every other week - Paid holidays - All tools/tool cart provided. - On the job training and work instructions provided - Medical, Dental, Vision, and Pet insurance, and more! - 401k with 3% match + 1/2 % up to 5% - 1 Week of Vacation time issued every 6 months based on date of hire. (max accrual is 120 hours) - 40 hours of sick time per year (max accrual is 120 hours) - NEW SIGN ON BONUS PROGRAM - UP TO $1000.00 - Employee referral bonus program – up to $1500.00 per referral - Attendance Bonus plan - up to $1500.00 per year - ONLY 15 WORKING DAYS PER MONTH
