Compensation: There is a base range between $60,000 $70,000 for this opportunity

About the role

Insight is seeking a Buyer III to support our Solution Integration Center (SIC) with a strong focus on inventory management, procurement execution, and operational alignment .

This senior-level role owns assigned product lines as a business—balancing inventory health, cost, and customer experience —while partnering closely with suppliers, Sales, and SIC operations. You’ll also serve as a key escalation point and mentor to junior buyers.

Key Responsibilities

• • Own end-to-end procurement (PO creation, tracking, execution)
  • Ensure accurate goods receipt (GR) and invoice reconciliation
  • Partner with SIC to align inventory with build, staging, and fulfillment needs
  • Manage and optimize inventory health (aging, excess, consumption trends)
  • Develop strategies to reduce obsolete or slow-moving inventory
  • Resolve complex escalations and drive root cause solutions
  • Manage vendor relationships; negotiate pricing, lead times, and expedites
  • Support ticket queue and meet SLA expectations
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and cost savings
  • Mentor Buyer I/II team members and support team development

• SLA adherence and backlog reduction
• Improved inventory turns and aging reduction
• Fewer invoice discrepancies and faster resolution
• Effective escalation management
• Process improvements that reduce cost or manual effort

What You Bring

• 4+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
• Strong background in inventory management and high-volume operations
• Proven ability to manage escalations and complex workflows
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Excel ; SAP experience preferred
