Job Overview Registered Nurse (RN) – Atrium Health Huntersville Surgery Center Operating Room Location: Huntersville, NC, United States. Atrium Health Huntersville Surgery Center offers comfortable, intimate surroundings for outpatient surgery. Responsibilities Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing. Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association. Previous Operating Room experience strongly preferred for this position. About This Location This freestanding ASC located in North Charlotte, Huntersville, North Carolina offers surgical care for a variety of procedures: Ear, nose and throat procedures, such as tonsillectomies, pediatric ear tube placement and reconstruction of inner ear components to improve hearing. Orthopedic procedures, including: Knee arthroscopies. Fracture repairs. Shoulder reconstructions. Rotator cuff repairs. Foot and ankle surgeries. Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstruction. Eye procedures, including plastic, reconstructive and cataract surgeries. Hernia repairs and gall bladder removals. Breast biopsies. Gynecology surgeries. Plastic surgery, including breast reconstruction, reduction and augmentation. Urology procedure. Benefits and Compensation Full-time position, 36 hours per week, with benefits eligible and no holidays, weekends, or call. Pay range: $35.50 - $53.25 per hour.
