Job Overview Responsible for processing laboratory specimens and reporting results across all areas of the clinical laboratory. Follow laboratory policies and procedures, maintain records, and implement quality control practices. Responsibilities Process laboratory specimens and report results for all clinical laboratory areas. Follow laboratory policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with laboratory standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records and perform quality control practices to ensure lab results are reliable. Work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines while staying accurate. Communicate effectively with a variety of people, handle stressful situations, and resolve conflicts. Perform additional job duties or tasks assigned, adhering to all applicable regulations and procedures. Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, or Biology. State licensure as a Medical Technologist in one or more specialties: blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology/immunology. Certification preferred (e.g., ASCP, CMD). Ability to meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and handle changing situations. Compensation Exemption Wage Non‑Exempt Starting Wage: $35.42 per hour. Actual wage is based on applicable experience.
