About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its leadership team. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the full finance and accounting function, leading a team of approximately 10 professionals, and serving as the primary financial liaison to institutional partners, equity groups, and the ownership team. This role is pivotal in driving the company's financial strategy, including forecasting, capital planning, and performance analysis, particularly in the context of the company's active and acquisitive financial services consolidation platform. The successful candidate will also be tasked with owning the acquisition accounting process, building out scalable financial infrastructure, and partnering closely with senior leadership on operational and strategic finance initiatives. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a CPA, with an MBA or additional credentials being a plus. A minimum of 10 years' progressive finance and accounting experience is required, with a preference for those who have held a direct CFO or senior finance leadership role. A background in financial services, particularly in the RIA, insurance, or wealth management industry, is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading a finance team, operating as a strategic partner to executive leadership, and managing institutional stakeholders. Strong communication skills and executive presence are essential, as the CFO will represent the firm at the highest levels. Experience with private equity-backed or institutionally-oriented businesses is also a plus.
